2. Masters in Law

International Law – LLM

Tuition Fee: £7,400/year for EU students; £12,800/year for international students with a scholarship of £2000

Entry Requirements: Minimum 2:2 class UK degree or international equivalent in any subject area and IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in all bands

Placement: Opportunity to undertake a placement abroad as an alternative to a dissertation

LLM Professional Law – LLM/PGDL/CPE

Tuition Fee: £8,500 per year for UK/EU students; £12,800 per year for international students

Entry Requirements: Minimum 2:2 UK degree or international equivalent in any subject area, IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 minimum in all bands

Placement: Opportunity to undertake an internship in the United States (subject to an approval process), where you could gain work experience in a law office, innocence project or judge’s chambers

Postgraduate Diploma in Law - PGDL/CPE

Tuition Fee: £5,400 per year for UK/EU students; £8,200 per year for international students

Entry Requirements: Minimum lower second-class UK degree or international equivalent in any subject area, IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 minimum in all bands

Internships: Opportunity to undertake an internship in the United States (subject to an application process), where you could gain work experience in a law office, innocence project or judge’s chambers

International Business Law – LLM

Tuition Fee: £7,400 per year for EU students; £12,800 per year for international students with a scholarship up to £2000

3. Public Health

Public Health - MSc / PgCert / PgDip

Tuition Fee:

o  £6,400 per year (MSc)/ £4,270 per year (PgDip) for UK/EU students

o  £12,800 per year (MSc) with a scholarship up to £2000/ £8,200 per year (PgDip) for international students

Entry Requirements:

·    An honours degree (2:2 or above) in a subject associated with or of relevance to public health, current

·    Or recent experience of working in a public health or health promotion role or capacity (This may be as your main role or as an aspect of your role. It may also be in a paid or voluntary capacity and as a professional or non-professional), IELTS 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in all bands

4. Part-time jobs and living expenses for international students in Birmingham

International students can expect to find plenty of part-time jobs during their time studying in Birmingham, ranging from administrative jobs to sales, hospitality jobs and across almost all subject areas. You can be expected to be paid from around £7/hour depending on your age and what the employer offers. As an international student studying a postgraduate degree, you are allowed to work 20 hours a week maximum in term time and full-time during holidays.
