This is UKEC weekly news about university application updates in the UK.
Hi folks,
As the month of July already started, It is time to start preparation for your September intake. Event if you haven’t received an offer yet, you still don’t need to worry since you have another chance: ‘Clearing’. This week, we’re sharing latest updates of University of York, City, University of London, University of Reading and lastly, Cardiff Metropolitan university.
<University of York>
We are pleased to announce that University of York now offers Open Day events in September. These events will provide students with the perfect opportunity to taste what studying at the University of York would be like, wherever they are in the world. For registration and email updates, please visit here.
Clearing will open on Monday 5th July. If you are interested in applying to City for September 2021 then please review the important information below which will explain the process.
- From Monday 5th until Friday 16th of July a Clearing Webform will be available on the website here.
- From Friday 16th July until Monday 9th August there will be a register your interest form online here.
- From Tuesday 10th August onwards there will be a Clearing webform here, and in all course pages which have places available.
<University of Reading>
University of Reading has launched Clearing 2021 pages with information specific to applying to Reading via Clearing.
If you already have or will receive your final results between 5 July and 3 August, you can apply for a place on one of their courses during early Clearing. Detailed information about how to apply can be found on their website here. Students who receive an offer during early Clearing are guaranteed accommodation at the White-knights campus as part of your offer.
<Cardiff Metropolitan University>
Cardiff Metropolitan University launched the new Global Engagement Graduate Skills Award.
The package includes different opportunities, tools and resources for students to enhance their degree and provide support when applying for the graduate route visa to kick start their career.
Students who complete the minimum required modules to obtain the Graduate Skills Award will also have the chance to receive a free Graduate Route Visa application worth £700. Students will also receive recognition of their achievements through an official Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR). For more information, visit their website here.
