The University of Aberdeen is a public research university in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. It is an ancient university founded in 1495 when William Elphinstone, Bishop of Aberdeen, petitioned Pope Alexander VI on behalf of James IV, King of Scots to create King's College. This makes it Scotland's third-oldest university (after the University of St. Andrews and the University of Glasgow) and fifth-oldest in the English-speaking world. The university as it is today was formed in 1860 by a merger between King's College (which had always referred to itself as the University of Aberdeen) and Marischal College, a second university founded in 1593 in Aberdeen city centre as a Protestant alternative to King's College. Today, the University of Aberdeen is consistently ranked among the top 150 universities in the world and is one of two universities in Aberdeen, the other being The Robert Gordon University.

#MSc TESOL#
1.选择阿伯丁因为她是我收到的第一个offer，tesol写作的小 分要求也相对低所以选择了阿伯丁大学。班上中国人和外国人的比例是1:1，我觉得还好，我们是小班上课，一个班20几 个人。
2.Tesol这门课没有考试，成绩是平时的论文的成绩加起来。4月中旬结束了我的考试，现在在准备毕业论文，每两 周要去签到，因为学校需要保证我们的安全。8月就交啦~
3.阿伯丁有孔子学院，有很多活动，会定期发邮件给学生，想参 加的同学可以积极报名哟，阿伯丁的图书馆很好，周一到周五是24小时的，周末不是，可以看个海边日落~。
4.我住在学 校的宿舍，条件还可以，周围买东西也方便，网购也很方便哇，整个城市比较安静。
5.来这里以后我觉得自己的变化是感 觉变勤快了，在国内大学属于比较慢节奏的，在这里要读的文献很多，每天学习，生活忙忙碌碌的，周围的同学感觉也变 得勤快了，当然厨艺也是大涨咯~
