CONTENT OF THE COMPETITION
The competition will wrap around #ukecbestmoments. The topic is about students' best memories throughout university application with UKEC.
HOW TO ENTER (T&C)
Deadline: 15/11/2018
Everybody can enter the competition by:
- Filming a short video of the entrants either on campus or accommodation or in the city where you live or study.
- A short post of at least 200 words with a photograph with the entrant having to be in the photograph.
Describe your best moments, best memories or your stories throughout your application with UKEC. It can be:
- The moment you received the university offer from your counsellor.
- The moment you got the CAS
- The moment you were granted your tier 4 visa
- The moment boarded on the airplane
- The minute you landed in the airport and you could wait any longer to get out of that plane.
- The second you put your first step on your university campus
- That first time you saw your gorgeous student hall.
- And any other memories that you like the most.
You have to post your entry video/photo/little blog post on at least two of your social media platform including Facebook and one of the following: Instagram and Twitter. This means Facebook is the must-have platform.
To help us track your post and consider it for the prize, you have to include #ukecbestmoments in your post and tag UKEC in your post. To tag UKEC on different platforms, use these:
- Facebook: @UKEC.International
- Instagram: @ukeducationcentre
- Twitter: @UKECCounsellor
There's only winning entry per prize (which means if two students enter the competition under one entry, it only counts as one entry which is considered for one prize).
Anyone who's had a great moment with their application or studying in the UK can enter but only UKEC current/past successfully enrolled students are considered for the prizes.
Please include your full name, University where you studied or are studying at for verification purpose.
The results will be announced publicly at the end of November an the decision is on UKEC's discretion.
All the entrants are appreciated to vote for UKEC in People's choice awards. This is also be considered as part of the marking criteria but not compulsory. To vote for us, click here and simply leave your name and email address.
All the materials used to enter the competition have to be original or royalty-free (music used in the video if applicable) to avoid copyright violation.

The first prize will be Amazon Echo Dot (Smart speaker)
Second prize: £20 tesco voucher
Third prize: £10 Tesco voucher
