As you know our teaching and assessment will be entirely online and now confirmed until at least 19 March 2021, which is the end of our second University term. Our plan at the moment is that students will be able to continue their studies in person here at Southampton when our next term begins on 12 April 2021.

Urgent International Travel Updates: 

• From 4am on Monday 18 January 2021 you must have proof of a negative coronavirus (COVID-19) test to travel to England. Further guidance on this and how best to advise students is now available on gov.uk website https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-testing-for-people-travelling-to-england. 
  
  

• From 4am today, Friday 15 January 2021 a travel ban to the UK came into effect for the following South and Central American countries and linked European destinations: Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela and Portugal.
